James Snook Billman, age 84, of Willard, Ohio passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Willard Mercy Hospital. He was born on May 17, 1940 in Willard, Ohio to the late Gerald and Evelyn (Gaylord) Snook. James was a member of the Willard Elks and Eagles. He enjoyed photography, amateur Radio and operating computers. James had a love for cats and flowers. He retired from R.R. Donnelly in Willard after 42 years.

He is survived by his children, Melonie L. (Robert) Gaines, Bradley J. Billman, Brian J. (Tina) Billman, Chad M. Billman, Mike (Tami) Billman and Natalie (James) Westmoreland; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Stewart “Stu” Snook, Butch Snook and Don Snook; sisters, Geraldine Barnett and Sharon Cramer; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Paul and Helen (Snook) Billman; daughter, Monica R. Billman; granddaughter, Ashley R. Gaines; brothers, Bob, Rich and Mike Snook; sisters, Joyce, Eleanor, Donna, Ruth, Sheila and Helen.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. James’ funeral service will be on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Secor Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Charles Conrad officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Billman/Snook Family - I was very sorry to learn of Jim’s passing. I very much enjoyed working with and talking to Jim. He was a very intelligent and knowledgeable man who had a fun sense of humor. I took a few work related road trips with him and always enjoyed them. My condolences to your family.

Sorry to hear about Jim´s passing. I always enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to Jim talk about how Willard used to be when he was younger. He was a good man and we were greatly blessed to be neighbors. Praying for the family that you would find comfort in Jesus.
