James Neeley, age 76, of Plymouth, Ohio passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the Mercy Willard Hospital in Willard, Ohio. He was born October 7, 1944 in Cator, Ohio to the late Andrew and Pheobie (Hackworth) Neeley. He retired from the Village of Plymouth and enjoyed working on cars, carpenter work, and most of all, spending time with his grandkids..

He is survived by 2 sons, Jimmy Neeley and Mike (Shonna) Neeley and 3 daughters, Shelly (Ron) Williams, Rosalyn (David) Williams and Tammy (David) Cole, all of Plymouth; 13 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. He is also survived by brother, Ralph Neeley, along with nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Neeley, parents, Andrew and Pheobie Neeley, 4 brothers, Marion, Fallen, Carl and Andy Neeley and 3 sisters, Edith Barnett, Veatrice Furr and Opal Neeley.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio where the funeral service will be Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Danny Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com.

My thoughts are prayers are with the Neeley family. James was a very nice person and always had a smile. I have fond memories of him and his family coming to visit our family. James and Shirley were a wonderful couple. Now he is with his wife celebrating their love for each other.
