James Junior Stamper II, age 38, of Shelby, Ohio passed away at his home on Thursday, December 29, 2022. He was born May 2, 1984 in Fostoria, Ohio. He enjoyed fishing, gambling and most of all, spending time with his family.
He is survived by his two children, Adain and Addie Stamper; father, James Stamper Sr; four sisters, Terri Risner, Debbie (Tim) Burkhalter, Becky (Jeremy) Burkhalter and Jamilyn Stamper; four brothers, Mark Winans, Brian Winans, Dave Winans and Jim Winans along with many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Winans; and one brother, Chris Winans.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the Messiah House of Prayer Church on Pettit Street in Shiloh, Ohio, and is where the funeral will be on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Bill Howell officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Willard, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Messiah House of Prayer Church. Secor Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. I know we all lost a big part of us when Jimmy past away. He was a caring baby brother, a fun uncle, a loving father, a helpful son, a awesome Nephew and the greatest friend & Cousin you could ask for. I know we are all going to miss hearing that loud green Chevy blazer pulling into our driveways. His fun and goofy personality. Jimmy kept in touch with all the family. I am going to miss him coming in and telling me about his fun weekend with Billy and Daniel. Jimmy definitely had more fun than a lot of us put together. You couldn’t know Jimmy without liking him. He was just a lovable guy. We are all going to miss him more than words can say but one thing is for sure we will see him again. So until then we love and miss you Jimmy

Stamper family I am so sorry for your loss and I send my deepest condolences. Aidan, I wanted to let you know that I am more than happy to speak with you at school when you feel ready to return. I lost my dad unexpectedly in April of 2020 I was 22 years old at the time. I know it’s a little bit different, since Aidan is still a young boy, but I hope I will be able to relate to you in some way and be there to listen to you and talk about how I grieve (still everyday 2 years later).

I'm so sorry. I have a lot of good memories of such a great person. We grew up together and had a lot of good times listening to our favorite music, playing cards, baseball and video games. The list goes on forever. My brother from another mother. He made it to the golden road. No doubt in my mind. May God watch over us all. I'm going to miss him for a long time. What a loss. I'm sorry for everyone that knew this great man.
