James J. Holida, age 57, of Willard, Ohio went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2009. He was born August 1, 1951 to Junior and Lucy Holida. James was a loving husband, father and Papa. He loved to fish, hunt and collect coins. He was employed at Midwest Industries for 28 years He was also a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Willard, Ohio
He is survived by his parents, Junior and Lucy Holida of Willard; his wife of 37 years, Debra (Compton) Holida; one son, Jay Holida of Willard; one daughter, Heather and son-in-law Brian of Westerville, Ohio; three grandchildren, Megan Stine, Dorian and Joey Holida; three sisters, Jewell Hicks, Jeddy Holida and Brenda and Donald Proffitt and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Julie Stine; one sister Judy and his grandparents Oscar and Camilla Holida.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio from 12-2P.M., where the funeral service will follow at 2:00P.M. at Secor Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Parsons officiating. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in Willard, Ohio. Memorial expressions may be made to the family. You’re the strongest person I know. It’s an honor, privilidge, and GREAT BLESSING to be your sister! James was a good man, I truly enjoyed being around him. I know he loved you as you loved him. He will be missed by many. But I know as well as you do that he is with Julie, and what a beautiful, blessed time they’re having together. No more pain or suffering for either one. Hang in there Sis.
