James A. Faulkner, age 82, of Shiloh, Ohio passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Shelby Pointe in Shelby, Ohio. He was born on April 27, 1935 in Woodsbend, KY to the late Roy and Ora (Gibson) Faulkner. James worked at the former Quanex in Shelby and finally retired from Phillips Manufacturing in Shelby. He enjoyed hunting, trap shooting, and motorcycle riding. He was extremely proud to have served in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper for the 101st Airborne in Fort Campbell, KY.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Wallace) Faulkner, whom he married on February 6, 1958; two children, Cynthia Turson of Plymouth and William Andrew (Paula) Faulkner of Willard; seven grandchildren, Graig, Brett, and Brook Turson; Jaqui Faulkner Burton, Phillip Faulkner, Gracie Faulkner, and Kylee Boor; five great grandchildren and one sister, Mary Pineda of Texas.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Erika Boor, and his grandparents, Rollie and Barbara Gibson.
Visitation will be on Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Oh, where the funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 10, 2017 with Rev. S. T. Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh, OH. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com

I have many fond memories of James. Enjoyed his stories he told while sitting on my grandparents porch (Evans family)during his visits back to his home place. My condolences to the family.
