Jacob Holthouse, age 48, resident of Willard, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Willard Mercy Hospital. He was born on January 15, 1965 in Willard to the late Wayne and Margery (Ricker) Holthouse. Jacob attended Christie Lane School for 42 years. He was very family oriented and enjoyed watching Casper, Charlie Brown and Snoopy.
Jacob is survived by two sisters and brother-in-law, Vicki and Jon VanZoest of Willard and Terry Stratton of Mansfield; sister-in-law, Angie Holthouse of Willard; nieces and nephews, J.R. Meiser, Adrianna Meiser, Cory Stratton, Katie Stratton, Abbi Holthouse, Alli Holthouse and Little Jake Holthouse; and one aunt, Bonnie (Robert) of Ashland.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James Holthouse.
Friends may call on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, from 1:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM, where Rev. Bart McKelvey will officiate. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven. Memorial contributions can be made to Christie Lane Industries. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com.

I am sorry for your loss. We will all miss him at Christie Lane Workshop. I worked with him for a few years. He was one of my friends at work.
So sorry to hear about Jake, he was special to all of us from Christie Lane. He was in my class of course years ago in the school but he was always a joy! My sympathies to all the family.
