Jack was a wonderful man. I just heard of his passing and am truly at a loss for words. When Jack was an area Manager for Dennys and my franchise went back to a corp store he was 1 of 2 that actually saw my ability and made sure I got the recognition I deserved. Later I traveled from Michigan to help Jack in ohio and got to know him so much better. Rest assured he was a wonderful man. God bless you jack fly high my friend

Jerome Whitfield - Dec 11, 2019
My name is Jerome Whitfield and I was a manager at Denny's restaurant in Amherst Ohio. I'd work there for many years before Jack took over and was assistant manager and then in April of 2010 I was given the opportunity to become a store manager. But due to health problems in April of 2012 I had to stop working but Jack was very understanding. Jack and I had numerous private conversations he gave me a lot of recognition for my hard work in the restaurant and with customer recognition he also came to my father's funeral in January of 2011.when I heard of his passing I was throwed off guard because hes was such a young man, 9 years younger than I. So to his family I would like to say I am truly sorry for the passing of your father and your son. May God cover you in his blessings and guide you through this hard time. Sending you our love from Jerome Whitfield and family

I was blessed to grow up with Jack. Memories that will carry on for a lifetime. He loved to tell the near-death experiences we had while I was driving in the drivers' ed. car (my Mario Andretti moments). And of course, he had to share that story with my kids to remind me that I was the reason my kids may have struggled with driving themselves. So many memories that seem like yesterday. Jack was a great guy. His children are the best of him. May God bless you all during these sad days but know you had "the best" in your life when you had him. He will be with you in your hearts and mind always.
