Henry J. “Frogdog” Cole, age 77, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015 unexpectedly at his home. He was born on August 5, 1937 in Willard, Ohio to the late Elzie and Charity (Crager) Cole and had been life long Willard resident. Mr. Cole served in the US Air Force Reserve and retired from CSX Railroad in Willard. He was a member of the American Legion Post 503, the American Legion Riders Post 514 and the Willard Moose Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap shooting and spending time with his family.
He is survived by four children, Brad Cole of Willard; Tony (Sandy) Cole of Georgia; Gina Jordan of Galion; and Angel (Eric) Long of Willard; eight grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Wright of Shelby; and Mildred Wright of Plymouth.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Jewel “Bunny” Cole in 2007; a grandson, Troy Jordan, Jr. and several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Brother Samuel Tharp officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Willard, Ohio.
