Evelyn Robinson, age 71, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on February 18, 1952 in Knott County, Kentucky to the late Vince and Carrie (Bolen) Handshoe.
Evelyn attended Willard High School and was a member of the Willard United Baptist Church. She always made sure everyone was taken care of and loved being with her family.
She is survived by her children, Roger Dale (Nickie) Robinson, Jr., Tina Dalton, and Heath (Colette) Robinson, all of Willard; grandchildren, who affectionately called her Mamaw, Brooke Robinson, Jeremy Robinson, Kelsey Robinson, Whitney Robinson, Macey Robinson, Averi Robinson, Karsyn Robinson, Zaayden Dalton, Aaron Dalton, Kolten Robinson, Addyson Dalton, Jaedyn Robinson, Braylen Branham, Gunner Robinson and Mia Robinson; siblings, Charlene Gasparac, Lorrean (Rodney) Backensto, Claude (Gaylene) Handshoe, Robert (Bonnie) Handshoe, Willie Handshoe and David (Lisa) Handshoe; brother-in-law, Gary Tackett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Robinson Sr., who passed away on May 8, 2023; granddaughter, Addalyn Robinson; son-in-law, David Dalton Jr.; sister, Lynn Tackett; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Hermie and John Robinson.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Willard United Baptist Church, 1579 S Conwell Ave, on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Evelyn’s funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Danny Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Willard. Memorial contributions can be made to the Willard United Baptist Church.
