Evadean Chandler, age 92, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Monday, June 6, 2011 in Hillside Acres Nursing Home in Willard. She was born on November 27, 1918 in Nebo, Kentucky to the late William Anna (Caunaday) Hampton and had been a Plymouth resident the majority of her life. Mrs. Chandler was a homemaker and attended the the Life Point Community Church in Plymouth. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and gardening.
She is survived by her daughters, Violet Hawkins of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and Nancy (Roy) Edler of Willard; numerous grandchildren and great grandchidren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Leroy Chandler, Sr.; two sons, Charles W. Hawkins and Albert L. Chandler, Jr.; five brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Thursday, June 9, 2011 from Twelve Noon to 2:00 PM where the funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Pastor Rich Hurles officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth, Ohio. Memorial contributions can be made to the Children’s Ministries at the Life Point Community Church.
