Emily Rachelle Moore, age 41, resident of Hilliard, Ohio passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Hospice of Central Ohio in Columbus, Ohio surrounded by her family. She was born on September 13, 1981 in Norwalk, Ohio to Uvonnie (Moore) Hall and the late Kelse “Charles” Moore.

A Willard High School graduate, Emily went on to attend and graduate with a Bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University. She was employed as a respiratory therapist with Madison Health Hospital in London, Ohio. Prior to her college graduation, Emily worked at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, her favorite job and place to spend time, where she gained life long friendships.

An adventurous soul, Emily loved to travel whether it was a drive to Frankenmuth, Michigan or hopping aboard a cruise ship. In her spare time, she liked to shop and ride her motorcycle; she was a member of the Northern Indiana Vulcan Riders, Chapter I-53. Affectionally known as “Boo Boo”, Emily truly loved life and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving mother, Uvonnie; five sisters, Josie Irby, Carrie (Tim) Ryman, Tracy (Steven) Blevins, Christina (Jeff) Fry and Tonya (Dave) Shaffer; numerous nieces and nephews; many friends who she considered her family; and her spoiled cat, Louise.

Emily was preceded in death by her father, Kelse “Charles” Moore; dad, Rex Hall; and brother, Brian Kirby.

Family and friends may visit at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Emily’s funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Andy Rupert officiating and burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. I worked with Emily at Madison Health, and I am so sad to hear of her passing. Emily was a truly kind, fun and unique person who was not afraid to be herself. I never saw her in a bad mood, she was kind to her patients and all her coworkers. She will be so missed. Thoughts and prayers to all of her friends and family.

My condolences to all of Emily's family & friends. I met Emily on the first day of class in Respiratory Therapy at BGSU. She sat behind me and asked me for a pen. Even though I changed majors a few months later, it didn't matter because we were friends from day one. I have so many great memories of hanging out in Sandusky, Bike Week, shopping, dancing, she came to my 4th of July party, I'd spend the night at her house and sleep on the couch with Belle. She was, undoubtedly, the kindest soul I've ever known. There was nothing she couldn't do once her mind was made up. She lived her life to the fullest ALWAYS smiling & laughing. My heart is broken. Heaven gained a beautiful soul. She will be greatly missed.
