Edna May Slone, age 69, of Greenwich, Ohio, passed away on August 16, 2022 at her home.  She was born on August 14, 1953 in Knott County, Kentucky to the late Richard and Ora (King) Short.  Edna enjoyed gardening, antiques and collecting, loved dogs, and most of all spending time with family.  She attended the City Church in Willard, OH.  Edna did not know a stranger and her door was always open to anyone in need.
 
Edna is survived by 3 children, Brian Slone of Portsmouth, OH; Monica (Billy) Robinson of Willard, OH; and Elizabeth (Trace) Thomas of Portsmouth, OH; 14 grandchildren, Justin, Kevin, Harley, Kaylee, Mashayla, Treyvin, Rikki, Tyson, Isaac, Dajuan, Nahjae, Marshall, Amaya, Cienna, Brennan, Russell, Emiley, and Jaime; 8 great grandchildren and 2 siblings.


In addition to her parents, Edna is preceded in death by her husband, Estill Slone Sr.; a son, Estill Slone Jr. and 13 siblings.

Visitation will be at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 1:00 PM until the time of her service at 4:00 PM with Rev. Bobby Mullins officiating.  Burial will take place on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Dow Short Cemetery in Topmost, KY.  Online condolences may be made to Edna’s family by visiting www.secorfuneralhomes.com
