I grew up with Edna and Carlos as my neighbors. I was just informed of this. She was the sweetest lady. Always gave us coolaid and would try to pay me when I shoveled her sidewalk in the winter. She would make these big dinners then call and tell me mom or dad to send us over if we wanted some. Even though we were just neighbors, she always treated us like family.
