Doris was, is and shall always be, āMy Rock.ā She always influenced me in a positive and logical manner. She and Ike provided me with love and caring from as early in my life as I can remember. She was always just a phone call away. In my mind, she is still available to me in the memory of things she has taught me and shown me how to appreciate in life. GOD I LOVE HER!

What a woman. Firecracker describes her perfectly. I smiled when I read that, as I always smiled when I'd think of Doris. When she said she was done, I knew it wouldn't be long. She was tired. Bonnie was her hero. I witnessed her love, concern and complete devotion to her mother. Honor thy mother was certainly fulfilled in this case.
