Donna Terveen, age 91, of Willard, passed away Friday, July 30, 2010 at Hillside Acres Nursing Home. She was born October 19, 1918 in Centerton, Ohio to the late Glenn Carlton and Frieda (Cross) Wolfe. She was a 1936 graduate of Willard High School and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a former beautician and formerly worked at Hi-Ho Restuarant in Willard. She was an avid Willard Flashes sports fan. She belonged to a ladies bridge club for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Jack, whom she married June 20, 1942; one daughter, Janet (Gordon) Moore of Cincinnati, Ohio; one son, Tod (Sue) Terveen of Willard; three grandchildren, Sherri (Creed) Cornett of Cincinnati, Scott (Danielle) Moore of Cincinnati and Brielle Terveen of Willard and two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Emmaline Moore; sister-in-law, Eleanor Hammontre of Newago, MI; nieces, nephews, and friend, Don Bell.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Terry Terveen; one brother, Carlton “Tod” Wolfe and an infant sister.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 from 1-2 PM where funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, with Rev. Amy Little officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Donna and Terry Terveen to the American Foundation for the Blind, 1000 Fifth Ave., Suite 350, Huntington, WV 25701. I had recently visited with your mom and dad before we left for Sant Fe. She remembered that we had shared an apartment together at BG and also that I did not graduate! Jack and I had a good laugh with that one. Sorry to here of her passing and sorry I couldn’t make it to see you. God Bless and know she is in a much better place.

Sorry to read about Donna’s passing she was truly an angel. Andrea & I stil have wonderful memories that we shared with her.
She was always a very caring & loving person. When she was able she enjoyed watching all the neighbor kids play and was so sweet to all of them, myself & my kids always thought she was such an amazing woman.
