Donna Rose Schroeder, age 78, resident of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Heartland of Bucyrus, surrounded by her family. She was born on March 19, 1939 in Bellevue, Ohio to the late William A. and Mary C. (Houck) Bumb. Donna is a 1957 graduate of Bellevue High School and then went on to study at St. Vincent's Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1960. She worked as a registered nurse for Willard Mercy Hospital, Mansfield Memorial Homes, and Crestwood Care Center. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Mansfield. Donna enjoyed making wood crafts in her "craft dungeon".
Donna is survived by her 3 children, Tracey (Joe) Young of Marion, OH, Toni (Brent) Hemminger of Tiffin, OH, Fritz (Heidi) Schroeder of Mansfield, OH; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; 5 brothers, Larry (Carol) Bumb, David (Pat) Bumb, Kenny Bumb, Michael (Lisa) Bumb, Phillip Bumb; and close friends, Diana Weasner and Nancy Featheringill.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick W. Schroeder.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 5:00 PM - 6:45 PM, with a memorial service at 6:45 PM with Father George Mahas officiating.
