Donald Proffitt, age 63, of Willard, Ohio, passed away on November 20, 2021, at Select Medical Regency West Hospital in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. He was born on March 27, 1958, in Adrian, Michigan to the late James and Addie (Harris) Proffitt.
Donald worked for years in the tree service. He enjoyed hunting, cooking, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren and his dog, Scarlett. He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church where he loved to play his guitar.
Donald is survived by his wife of 44 years, Brenda (Holida) Proffitt; his two children, Justin (Misty) Proffitt and Brooke (Adam) Westbrook; six grandchildren, Dylan, Hannah, Isabell, Hudson, Haelyn and Gavin; two sisters, Blanche and Barbara; six brothers, Harold (Cathy), Leeroy (Linda), Jerry (Kay), Doyle (Barb), Ricky (Tracy) and Gary, all of Adrian Michigan and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas James "TJ" and Clayton and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Junior and Lucy Holida.
Visitation will be at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM where his funeral service will be on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ron Parson officiating.
