Donald G. Hough, age 82, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 in the Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky, Ohio. He was born on February 4, 1930 in Plymouth, Ohio to the late Carl and Helen (Hatch) Hough. He graduated from Plymouth High School and Mansfield Business College, and attended College Baptist Bible College in Springfield Missouri. Mr. Hough served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1953 stationed in Europe. Don was a retired security guard and had worked at MTD in Willard and at Delphi in Sandusky.
Mr. Hough was a life-long student of the Bible, and was a Landmark Baptist Church and Deer Park Baptist Church bus driver in Cincinnati Ohio for several years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Leola “Porgie” (Slagle) Hough; a daughter, Sandy (Scott) Mullis of Cicinnati, OH; step-daughter, Darla (Victor) D’Ettorre of Kyiv, Ukraine; and a step-son, David (Mary) Shirey of Parkersburg, West Virginia; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, George Hough.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 10:30 AM in the Greenwood Cemetery in Willard, Ohio. Pastor Joseph Green will be officiating with interment.
