Donald G. Auck, age 84 of New Washington, Ohio passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born June 24, 1937 in Chatfield, Ohio to the late Omar and Loretta (Durnwald) Auck. Donnie was a 1955 graduate of Chatfield High School and served in the Army National Guard in Mansfield, Ohio. He worked 47 years at C.E. White Company in New Washington where he was a designer of high back and child restraint seats. He also was the plant manager for the company.

Donnie's favorite hobbies were building and flying model airplanes and attending air shows watching the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds. He enjoyed being outdoors, feeding and watching the birds, mowing and country drives. He also loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary (Snipes) Kaple whom he married on June 1, 2007; children, James Auck, Gregory Kaple, Shirley (John) Stump and Lynette (Brian) Agin, all from New Washington, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, Justin (Aeryca) Auck, Steven Auck, Ashley Auck, Jacob Auck, Lyndsey (Joe) McDiffitt, Lesley Blum (Chad Martin), Makayla Agin (Anthony Renfroe), Thomas (Konnor) Kaple, Taylor Barnett (Aaron Schifer), Hannah Barnett (Randy Mason), Bailey Agin and 7 great grandchildren.

Donnie is preceded in death by his parents, Omar and Loretta Auck; son, Joseph M. Auck, special Aunt and Uncle, Marcella and John Durnwald; sisters, Dorothy Deruy, Marilyn Patrick, Marcella Tuokola, Linda Rhoden, Sandra Burns and brother Edward Auck.

Donnie's visitation will be Friday, April 15, 2022 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Secor Funeral Home in New Washington, Ohio where his funeral service will be Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Michael Diemer officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery in New Washington. Memorial contributions may be made to Avita Home Health and Hospice.
