Donald G. Funk, age 74, of Woodbine Street, Willard, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at his home following a short illness. Born June 22, 1930 in Clyde, Ohio to the late Harold M. “Lester” and Muriel (Hassinger) Funk. He is a member of the Eternal Life Tabernacle Church in Willard. He was a member of the Willard Masonic Lodge. He retired as a conductor for the CSX Railroad in Willard.
He is survived by his wife, Donna (Bailey) Funk whom he wed January 25, 1950; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Pat Funk of Dewey, AZ; three step-grandchildren; two brothers, John L. Funk of Willard; and Ivan Dale Funk of South Carolina. He is preceeded in death by his son, Dennis Allen Funk and his parents, Harold M. “Lester” & Muriel (Hassinger) Funk.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday at the Eternal Life Tabernacle Church in Willard with Reverend Lloyd Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Greenfield Twp.
