Denise Kay Ruble Beck passed away March 14, 2015 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on September 14, 1960 in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Howard and Barbara Ruble. Denise grew up in St. Louis Missouri and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1980. Directly after high school, Denise joined the United States Air Force in 1980 and served as a Food Service Specialist and was honorably discharged in 1984. While serving she received the Air Force Longevity Award. She was also employed by the AVI Vending Company.
Denise enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed decorating cakes, playing the tambourine, and reading her bible. She was a member of the Shelby Church of God.
She is survived by her four children, Jonise (Nathan) Oney, Joseph Beck Jr., Samuel (Abigail) Beck, and Elizabeth Beck, sister Sheryl (Walter) Ruble-Joyce, grandchildren Hunter, Payton, Cheyenne, Bentley and Bailey.
Denise was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Barbara, sisters Deborah Ruble and Cathleen Hasty, and nephew Noah Beck.
Services will be held at the First Assembly of God Church at 927 South Main Street in Willard, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 10:00am – 11:00am with a memorial service starting at 11:00. Dinner to follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Sam and Abby Beck at 1003 Sandusky Street, Plymouth, OH 44865.
