This one rattles me more than most. Dave was a good dude but I haven' seen him in quite awhile, he'd moved from Willard and we lost track. He was a regular at what I'll call Lillo's card playing shack uptown Willard beside Ron's barbershop. I got to know him better one night when he and I went driving around having a few colds ones and just talked about life in general. He liked to joke people sometimes. One time he could tell something was bothering me and said hey Red, that's my nickname, that's quite a chip you got on your shoulders there, ya want me to knock it off for ya? For a split second I thought I was about to get whooped, then he started laughing saying he was just messin with me, then I started laughing. Not a better man you'd want on your side when there was trouble than Dave. I really wish i knew he wasn't far away so I could reconnect. He was a great dude, I will miss him, and I am sincerely sorry for the loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. Another good one gone too soon. Some of my most fondest memories of diamond Dave include his contagious laugh when him and dad were working on some jobs. He would always include us kids try to teach us something about what he was doing. He was an amazing person. Him & my dad are probably up there playing cards together <3
