Being active in the New Washington community, Daryl enjoyed working on a number of the projects the town acquired and was also part of the Water Board and helped to establish the first local pool. He enjoyed gardening and most of all, attending his grandchildren’s activities.

I was so sad to hear of Mr. Riedel's passing. Living up the street from the Riedels during my childhood and being a member of the American Legion Auxilliary, I have many fond memories of Mr. and Mrs. Riedel. I particularly remember how he was always so good to check on his mother who lived across the street from m. Sending prayers to Holly and Doug and their families.
