Daniel G. Loera, age 60, resident of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. He was born on August 18, 1958 in Alice, Texas, to the late Gregorio and Guadalupe (Godines) Loera. He graduated from Willard High School and was an U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by a son, Daniel Codey Loera; daughter, Kimberly Minton; 5 brothers, Luis Loera of Willard, David (Peggy) Loera of New London, Alex (Adriana) Loera of Corpus Christi, Texas, Hector (Lee) Loera of Fostoria and Jesus Loera of Norfolk, VA; 4 sisters, Ramona Loera of Findlay, Maria Gloria McCoy of Willard, Ester Ancheyta of Willard and Erica Nichelle Loera of Fostoria; 3 grandchildren, Alayna Jean Loera, Reno Matthew Loera and Gerina Minton; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Greg Loera Jr., Juan Loera and Carlos Loera; 2 sisters, Erma Loera and Sylvia Whetmore.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. There will be no funeral service and there will be a private graveside service at a later date at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Willard, Ohio.
