Connie L. Garcia, age 78, resident of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023 at the Willows at Willard. She was born in Tiffin, Ohio on January 12, 1945 to the late Robert and Frances (Smith) Beck. Connie was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister. While living in Florida, she worked at Publix. While in Ohio, she worked at Pioneer Rubber, Guardian, Kroger in Tiffin, and Willard Mercy Hospital where she was a courier.
She is survived by her husband, Jose P. Garcia whom she wed on May 23, 1985; two sons, Daniel Stockmaster and Douglas Lucius; one daughter, Monica (Andy) Ackerman; twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild; one sister, Bonnie (Jim) Snyder; niece, Christy Snyder and nephew, Cory Snyder.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Dana Lucius and a son, Donald Lucius.
Connie's family would like to thank the staff and nurses at the Willows at Willard and Southern Care Hospice for their great and gentle care they provided for Connie.
Visitation will be at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of her service at 12:00 PM with Deacon John Murray Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Bloomville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Connie's Family through the funeral home. Sorry to hear about Connie. Words can't say enough because I went threw the same thing a year ago on Feb. 15, 2022. That is when Roosevelt passed away. I will never forget him and I hang in there for him so It will be rough but hang in there for her.
