Cleo Keaton, age 88, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at The Willows at Willard. She was born on November 7, 1935 in Centerton, Ohio to the late Willie and Lanie (Bailey) Watkins.

A 1953 Willard High School graduate, Cleo worked for both Pioneer Rubber Plant and Guardian Manufacturing in the sewing division. She was an avid Willard basketball fan.

Cleo is survived by her children, Michael D. Keaton (Laura Fritz), Karen (Al) Bedingfield and Guy Keaton; grandchildren, Brock Keaton, Gage Keaton, Eric Keaton, Joe (Alanna) Bedingfield, Craig (Mischa) Duncan, Justin Keaton, Konnor (Thomas) Kaple and Zack Keaton; and great grandchildren, Shanelle, Reese, Joseph “JJ”, Ryann, Jade, Noah, Raelynn and Colson Henry, who is due in July.

In addition to her parents, Cleo was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Clay Keaton who passed away on January 16, 2020; brother, Bill Watkins; sisters, Lillie Durr and Mary Stephens; and half-brothers, James Watkins, Eddie Watkins and Eugene “Tony” Watkins.

Family and friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Her funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Ricky Branham officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven. Memorial contributions in Cleo’s memory can be made to Willard Flashes Basketball or Stein Hospice.
