My grandfather was a great, kindhearted and sweet man. Unfortunately his obituary isn't listing all the family he loved. He has 2 surviving sons, Andy and David Brooks and a daughter, Tracie (Howard) Hale. There are 6 of us granddaughters, and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 children as well Michael Howard and my mother Teresa (Howard) George. I'm saddened by his passing, i have nothing but fond and happy memories. I've never been so much as scolded by him, my sister and i could do no wrong. And going to visit him, you could always count on him having his pipe in his mouth, i have never smelled smoking tobacco and not immediately thought of him. And he could drink a 2 liter of pop faster than anyone I've ever seen in my life, he made us laugh a lot. I would have never known my grandpa Howard was in any pain if I didn't know of his medical history and info, if he saw us coming towards him, he was so excited to see us, his feet would barely touch the ground, he'd leap to his feet and practically run to us with pure joy and excitement, he was just thrilled every single time. He'd greet us every single time with the BIGGEST hugs and kisses. He loved us very much, he loved his family, and friends. I learned a lot of the Howard family history I know because of him and my great Aunt Trasky, I also learned that they must have been raised to love as she always greeted us in the same way my grandpa did. Sadly there are not many of the Howard's left, he had all granddaughters, but I named my first born son with the name to carry on since I was given my mother's maiden name, for the same reason I gave it to Alex, we weren't wed. I loved my grandpa dearly and was proud to name my son to carry on his legacy. I knew Trasky (Howard) King, my grandpa, Dane Howard and of course my mother's siblings, but I would love to be able to meet the remaining family. I know Dane and his family would as well, there are a few Howard's in New London Ohio and surrounding but I don't know Many more. I spent a lot of time with my grandpa Howard growing up so I imagine we have a bunch of kind hearted family out there as well. I am more than happy to be contacted by any of them at 419.677.9193

A sons wish
Family I wish I could have met you when dad was alive. I wish there was not a reason for As to have ever have been separated. I wish Dad never got sick. I wish 31 years would not have been stolen from us. I wish I would not have been afraid to meet all of you guys. I wish most of all that I could rewind time and God would give us all another chance to be a family. Healthy, strong, happy, loving, inseparable. I miss you Dad. I LOVE YOU. I miss you family. Thank you for taking care of my Dad.
