Charles Stephens, age 80, of Plymouth, Ohio passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022 at the Marion General Hospital in Marion, Ohio. He was born March 29, 1942 in Willard, Ohio to the late Arthur and Mollie (Vanderpool) Stephens. He was a lifelong sprint car driver and owner and loved dogs and cats.

He is survived by his children, Terry (Debbie) Stephens of Ravenna, Roger (Diane) Stephens of Pensacola, FL, Carol Stephens of Willard, Clay Stephens of Willard, Laurie Stephens of Coshocton and Brian Eagle of Ashland; 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; 4 siblings, Gladys Fliger of Mansfield, Clara Sexton of Willard, Betty Goble of Shelby and Wanda Alonso of Shelby and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Mollie Stephens, daughter, Lynn Stephens, grandson Ethan Stephens, granddaughter Brianna Ratliff and 6 siblings, Kenneth Stephens, Florence Crawford, Lula Sexton, James Stephens, Frank Stephens and Alma Kegley.

The visitation for Charles will be Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio, where the funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Delmar Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Richland County Humane Society.
