Charles R. Cummings, age 70, of Peru Center Road, Willard, Ohio passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2008. He was born June 26, 1938 in Willard, OH to the late Charles & Naomi (Elliot) Cummmings and has lived in Willard all of his life. He was a member of the Christian Alliance Church in Willard. He was a member of the Willard American Legion and the Willard Moose. He served in the National Guard with the Engineer Battalion #538.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Chad & Stacy Cummings of Willard; daughter and son-in-law, Candace & Herbert Bores of Tiro; and 4 grandchildren, Jessica Bores, Katie Howell, Annie and Madison Cummings.
He is preceeded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann (Grabach) Cummings, who died May 4, 1998 and his parents, Charles C. & Naomi Lucille (Elliot) Huffman Cummings.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2008 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, where the funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM with Rev. Ricky Branham officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio with Minister Don Beverly. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Stein Hospice.
