Charles "Chuck" Bowmar, age 50, of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. He was born on January 27, 1973 in Willard, Ohio, to the late Harry D. and Eileen F. (Channing) Bowmar. Chuck was a faithful member of the Steuben Congregational United Church of Christ. He graduated from Willard High School, Class of 1991, and was a member of the 1990 Undefeated NOL Champs with the Willard Flashes Football Team. He worked for many years at Willard IGA and most recently was a Delivery Expert at Domino's Pizza in Willard, with over 24 years of service. He enjoyed watching and supporting all Willard Flashes and Ohio sports teams, collecting ball cards, traveling and road trips. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Left to cherish Chuck's memory are his sister, Heidi (Tim) Branham of Apple Creek, Ohio; brother Eric (Katie) Bowmar of New Washington, Ohio; nephews, Cody (Kaylee) Tanner, Jacob Tanner, Cory Branham and Tyler (Viri) Branham; great nephew, Sebastian; Aunt Carol George; and several close cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Emily Tanner and Uncle David George.

Visitation will be at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio, on Monday, January 29, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. His funeral service will be on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Secor Funeral Home at 11:00 AM with Pastor Ron Jesse officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. I can't even believe this. I know I am going to wake up from this nightmare and everything is going to be ok. I remember when Eileen was our babysitter. Chucky and I were close. Chuck, Eric and Heidi were like my brothers and sister. So, many memories. I could go on forever with stories. Chuckie was one of a kind. I love you Chuck. I am going to miss you very much. It sometimes feels like a lifetime ago working at Domino's. But, truly one of the best times of my life. Working with all the Bowmar men, was such a great experience. Everyone in the Bowmar family personified a kind, warm, loving family. How sad to know I won't run into Chuck around town. I thank God he gave us people like Chuck in our lives as a reminder of what a good person is.
