Calvin Ray Tuttle, age 60, of Canton, MI, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Beaumont Hospital in Wayne, MI. He was born on January 11, 1960 in Chicago, IL, to the late Holly and Sylvia (Newsome) Tuttle. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and children.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy (Thornsberry) Tuttle whom he married on October 28, 1978; children, Calvin (Kelly) Tuttle of New Haven, OH; Taylor (Josh) Tuttle of Lexington, KY and Sommer (Gary) Neill of Wayne, MI; grandchildren, Elyjah James Tuttle and James Calvin Neill; and 2 brothers.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Holly and Sylvia (Newsome) Tuttle.
Calling hours will be at Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, OH on Friday, September, 18, 2020 from Noon until 2:00 PM where his funeral service will be at 2:00 PM with Elder Dan Carty. So sorry to hear of losing another former student. Calvin was in 7th grade the first year I taught in Plymouth schools. Years later I also had his son Calvin. Our condolences to Peggy, who was once our neighbor, and to the Tuttle family.

Just heard about this and so truly sorry. Prayers going out to Peggy and the entire family. Hadn’t seen Calvin in almost 25 years or so. Use to keep me in tears from laughing so much from some of the things he used to say and do. Sandy and I are truly sorry for your loss.
