Brent Steven Slone, age 35, resident of New Washington, Ohio passed away on July 2, 2024 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

A twin, Brent was born on August 11, 1988 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Angie (Shell) Niedermier and Herman Slone and raised by his father, Bob Niedermier. He graduated from Willard High School in 2007 and worked at FedEx as a lead driver. Brent was a kind soul who had a big heart for everyone. He loved riding his motorcycle and was meticulous when it came to mowing his yard. Brent’s family, especially his wife and sons, were most important to him and he cherished all the time he was able to spend with them.

Brent is survived by his wife, Heather Slone, whom he married on April 20, 2012; four sons, Justin, Bennett, Lucas and Brent II; mother, Angie Niedermier; father, Bob Niedermier; siblings, twin brother, Brian (Dusk) Slone, Brandon Coll, Zack (Emily) Niedermier and Hannah (Anthony) Johnson; maternal grandmother, Dianne Shell; nieces and nephews, Charisma, Owen, Carson, Ledger, Cooper, Nicholas, Conner, Alivia, Hadley, Grady, Emery, Jade, Elijah, Harlynn and Kinsley; mother-in-law, Ginger (Steven); father-in-law, David Stiffler; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Shell; and paternal grandmother and grandfather, Audrey (Tuttle) and Woodrow Slone.

Family and friends may gather at the Secor Funeral Home in New Washington on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. His funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to his family.
