Brandi C. Thornton, age 31, of Willard, Ohio passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022. She was born on August 16, 1991 in Willard, Ohio to Aaron M. Thornton and Yun Mi (Chong) Schwab. A spiritual soul, Brandi liked to collect crystals. She always had a love and interest for doing hair and nails; she was a nail tech at Square Nails in Ontario for many years. Brandi’s children were the light of her life.
She is survived by her parents, Aaron (Lori) Thornton and Yun Mi (Rory) Schwab; 3 children, Marshall Thornton, Jinju and Myzen Hale; siblings, Abby (Dylan) and Trey Schwab, Samantha (Jake) Furr; grandmother and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by a son, Juelz Bryant, paternal grandparents, and maternal grandparents.
Calling hours will be at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Her funeral service will be at Christian Alliance Church 1609 South Conwell Ave, Willard, Ohio 44890, on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mike Harroll officiating. Burial will follow the service at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Willard, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Brandi Chong Thornton fund at Sutton Bank #1119. I simply can’t wrap my head around this horrific Tragedy😢😭 I’m still in shock, when I 1st heard of this horrible knees , I broke down & didn’t wanna believe it!! Brandi was a very good friend of mine, & I had once babysat her 3 kid’s few yrs ago. And my granddaughter was Marshall’s age & they loves playing with one another, in fact my granddaughter & Marshall & Jinju are actually cousins!!! Brandi was such a beautiful soul, & simply loved her kid’s!! My heart goes out to Brandi’s family, sending my condolences. My deepest thoughts & prayer’s goes out to Brandi’s family, especially her children. I simply can’t even Fathom what Marshall & especially Jinju are going through 😪😢😭😭😭 May God wrap his arms around Brandi’s family, especially her children to comfort them, heal them, protect them, bring peace, & to be with them every step of the way. 😇💖🙏🙏 I’ll ALWAYS & FOREVER cherish the good memories I had with Brandi, along with her kid’s. I’ll NEVER forget what a wonderful friendship I had with Brandi, & the amazing person Brandi was. Brandi was such a good hearted person, that truly loved her kid’s, & was such a happy, silly person, with a good personality, & a heart of gold. I’m honored to have known Brandi, & had a true friendship with her, & I’ll I ALWAYS hold close to my heart. I had a close friendship with her ever since Brandi & I met in 2015. Brandi was so loved by many, such a beautiful soul that ABSOLUTELY DID NOT DESERVE TO END IN A HORRIFIC TRAGEDY!! Juelez was such an adventurous, good kid, that had many friends. Juelez died as a hero trying to protect his Mother. I’ll NEVER understand why Men that are abusive & want to harm a woman, & especially harm an innocent child 😪😢😭😭 I pray that Zach gets life in prison for Killing such a beautiful soul, along with killing an innocent child, that ABSOLUTELY DIDNT DESERVE TO GO THIS WAY🎯💯💯 Brandi & Juelez will ALWAYS & FOEVER IN THE HEARTS OF THOSE THAT LOVED THEM, GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN 🎯💯💯💔💔😢😭😭 I hope their resting in peace There’s simply no words to express to Brandi’s Parent’s, & family , I can’t even imagine how they feel, or what their going through. I have not had contact with Brandi in quite a few recent years. But I remember when she would come over to my house with her Aunt Kathy when she was about 10...we spent a lot of time in our hot tub just talking and laughing. We had some good times and she was such a sweetheart. My prayers are with Brandi's family.
