Bradley E. Jones, age 58, resident of Galion, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at his home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on August 30, 1957 in Willard, Ohio to Donald R. and Edna (Cole) Jones. Bradley had always worked as a truck driver, most recently with W.W. Transport in Columbus. He was a member of Teamsters. He enjoyed drag racing and watching NASCAR. Bradley loved his friends, but most importantly, his wife, children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Slone) Jones, whom he married on June 19, 1982; 2 sons, Brandon (Miranda) Jones of Galion, Chase Jones (Maizie Garrett) of Galion; 3 grandchildren, Ethan, Reilly, and Victoria Grace; his mother, Edna (Cole) Jones of Greenwich; 2 brothers, Aaron Jones of Greenwich, Donald (Denise) Jones of Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bradley was preceded in death by his father, Donald R. Jones; 2 brothers, Johnathan and Gary Jones.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. A funeral service will be Monday, March 21, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Church of God in Willard with Rev. Greg Griffith officiating. Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven. Sharon, Brandon, Chase I’m very sorry about Brad. Brad is no longer in pain or or extreme discomfort. No words can make you feel better or dull the pain of him being gone. You can only take one day at a time, and remember how he would want you to feel right now.
