To all my family,
The pain in our hearts is heavy, the sadness intense, yet we all know we have Grandma watching over us. An angle on earth she was. A beautiful soul that touched our minds and hearts.
I’ll never forget her shelling peas, or making me a fried bologna sandwich, or naming all the actrices and actors in her favorite old time movies. I’ll never forget that laugh and smiling eyes. I’ll never forget how she never let life get her down. So positive she glows.
For me Grandma was the perfect (grand)mother. She was always there for all of us. In good and bad moments. She would laugh with us, she cried with us. Every now and then a good pinch on the arm did us all good. Her love was real, never fading, never ending, and a love that was felt even from very very far away.
She loved all of us, and she was so proud of every one of us. I hope her lifes lesson of love and parenting lives on in all of us. Let’s all keep making her proud. Let’s all take a moment to give each other a hug. Because of her each and every one of us has been given life. Let’s all make the best of it, so when we all get to see her again the first thing we hear is again how proud we made her, how we changed to give our family and friends the same amount of love that she taught us so well.
I am sad I am unable to make it from the Netherlands to say goodbye to her and hug each and every one of you, so please know that you all are in my heart and prayers. This Thursday I will visit a special country roadside cross along a country road here that reminds me of home, and I will light a special candle just for her.
All my love,
Joe Mullins

To everyone that knew and loved our beloved Grandma (Big Mommy)
On Sunday July 11th Gods gracious hands came down and took Grandma home to be with him, an Angel on earth as she is a Angel in Heaven. Our hearts ache, but they will heal with a little part of it missing. Grandma always had her own special way with each and everyone, she would light up a room with her smile and her laughter. What an amazing woman she was to us all and she will be surely missed by all. I LOVE YOU GRANDMA!!!!
Ethel, stony, C D and all the rest of the family, so sorry for your loss, but Heaven’s gain. in the 50’s we lived by Bernice and Delmar. grew up around some of the children, and Berice like my mom and a few others ladies around the county line always made us all feel like we were their children. If we needed to be told no for something wasn’t right to do she wasn’t afraid to tell us
Our love and prayers are with everyone of you.
Claris, Billie Hicks, Ailene Duff, and Barbara and Jesse Villarreal

A sweet and wonderful woman is now our guardian angel in heaven. I will never forget the memories I am so thankful to have shared with my grandma. She will forever be in my heart and that amazing smile in my mind. Time may help heal all wounds but there will always be a scar left there to remind me of her and the life she was able to live. Her love will always surround us and be felt for eternity.I know I will see her again one day and she will be saving me a seat right beside her in God’s kingdom. Love and miss you Big Mommy!!
