April D. Barnett, age 57 of Centerton, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. She was born on November 18, 1952 in Shelby, Ohio to Paul and Doris (Kincaid) Davis. She enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Willard.
She is survived by her husband, James Barnett; two sons, Loren (special friend Carol Dalton) Barnett of Westover, WV and David Barnett of Centerton; one daughter, Donna (Jesse) Spears of Greenwich; three granchildren, Nathan Hawk Spears, Kevin Steel Spears and Kolton Night Spears; her parents, Paul and Doris Davis of Texas; one brother, Rick (Billie) Davis of Galion; one sister, Sharon (Dave) Vinson of Indianapolis, IN and special children, William Vehse, Mitchell Buchanon, Carl Dalton, Jr. and Sara Dalton.
She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Justin Blaze Spears and Michael James Barnett.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Willard on Monday, April 12, 2010 at 6 PM with Rev. Brian Peltomaa officiating. Burial will follow privately at a later date. Jim and family, Please accept our sincerest condolences for your loving April,she was too young to go, but God Knows all.. We know she will be missed by all who loved her.. Please allow us to walk with you in your grief and saddness..We know what it means to lose loved ones . When Ken died at MTD. in 2005, it was the hardest burden we have ever had to bear .Please know that our thoughts and prayers will be with you in your hours of grief..

April was a special lady. I remember our time together fondly, all those years ago in school.
A good soul gone too soon from us. My prayers are with family.
April was a very special sister and friend above all. She always was happy no matter how bad she felt.She fought the battle and finally decided to let go and now she is with the LORD.She will be missed by all.Our hearts go out to Jim and all the children and grandchildren.God Bless You All.
