ANNETTE NIEDERMIER (ZULKA/ZOLTANSKI)

Annette E. Niedermier, age 79, a former New Washington, Ohio resident of 37 years, died peacefully on Friday, March 2, 2018 at National Church Residences at Mill Run in Hilliard, Ohio after a long battle with Dementia/Alzheimer's disease. She was born August 5, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Anthony and Hattie (Mrozinski) Zulka. Annette was a 1956 graduate of Central Catholic High School in Toledo, Ohio. Family was important to her. Annette was a stay at home mother raising 7 children. After raising her children, Annette worked many years for Bucyrus Community Hospital as a nursing assistant. She enjoyed spending time with her family and walks with her dog, "Maggie". She was talented at needlework, sewing, baking, cooking, and an impeccable housekeeper. Annette was also an avid reader.

She is survived by her children, Rob Zoltanski of Sycamore, Ohio; Karen (Tim) Little of Belleville, Illinois; Danette (Rodney) Lehman of Upper Arlington, Ohio; Bob (Angie) Niedermier of Willard, Ohio; Becky (Corey) Travis of Delaware, Ohio; Cindy (Mick) McCarthy of New Washington, Ohio; James (Stephanie) Niedermier of Akron, Ohio; 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Also preceded in death is her husband of 36 years, Kenneth Niedermier, who passed away in 2008, and her first husband of 11 years, Daniel Zoltanski who passed away in 1970.

Friends may gather at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in New Washington on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, where the Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM with Father George Mahas officiating. Burial will take place at St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery following the Mass.
