Alyssa McKenzie Laser, age 14, of Plymouth, Ohio, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Willard, Ohio. She was born on September 18, 2007 in Shelby, Ohio to Johnathon and Amy (Burkhalter) Laser. Alyssa enjoyed princess movies, lights, music, playing possum and walks and being outside. She knew people by their voices and loved her dad's loudness and her nurses. She always had a huge smile for everyone.

Left to cherish her memories are her parents, Johnathon and Amy (Burkhalter) Laser; brother, Landen Laser; beloved dog, Oliver; grandparents, Gladys Hicks, Elizabeth Burkhalter-James and Alton (Brianne) Laser; great grandparents, Ella Christine (Birbage "Bill") Howell and Blanche Gayheart; uncles and aunts; Tiffany (Ryan) Click, Nathaniel (Maranda) Laser, Wesley Laser, Luke James, Chad (Cora) Cole, Branden Cole; numerous cousins, great aunts and great uncles; and special care givers, Samantha Crosby, Tammy Stephens-Sutter and Sandy Reed.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Phillip Hicks and Jesse James; great grandfathers, Forest Gayheart, Lowell Laser and James William Burkhalter; great grandma, Edna Laser; great uncles, Greg Gayheart and Gary Burkhalter; uncle, Stuart Laser; and aunt, Amber James.

Alyssa's visitation will be at Messiah's House of Prayer, 74 Pettit Street, Shiloh, Ohio, 44878 starting at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 until the time of her service on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 1:00 PM with Evangelist Jim Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
