Dorothy J Seidel, best known as “Peenie” to all those that knew her, passed away August 21, 2024 at 87 years old. She was born in Willard on September 29th 1936 to the late Charles and Retta Langhurst, and lived here most all her life. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church in Willard, and retired from Mercy Hospital.

Dorothy had a spunky, fun, and caring personality and was never one to sit idle. She was always on the go, running errands, working around her house, tending to her flowers or yard and she could always be found working in her kitchen baking the best pies, cakes, and meals to share with her family and friends. She was always first to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed her.

Above all else, Dorothy loved her family more than anything and would go above and beyond for them. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kyle (Walt) Feasel of Bellevue Oh, Stephen (Pam) Kennedy of Lafayette La, and Renee Harris of Willard Oh. Her Grandchildren, Kellie (Brad) Shook, Laura Kennedy, Sarah (Michael) DeCuir, Samuel Kennedy (Mariah Rinkel), Ruth Kennedy, Elijah (Kambria) Cavazos, Esther Kennedy, Sheila (Joseph) Dempsey, Jeff Feasel and the late Walt Feasel Jr. Great grandsons, Braden Shook (fiancé Abbi Long), Gavin Shook and her sister Yvonne Bogner.

She is preceded in death by her husband Earl Seidel and parents Charles and Retta Langhurst.

Visitation will be at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Monday, August 26, 2024 from 4:00 PM until the time of her funeral service at 6:00 PM with Sr. Diane Hay officiating.  Private burial will take place a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Willard, Ohio.  Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.  Online condolences may be made to Dorothy’s family by visiting www.secorfuneralhomes.com
