I am very saddened to hear about Dorothy’s passing. I knew she had been diagnosed a while back with cancer and would ask my sister how she was doing. Then I had the chance to chat with her at my dad’s funeral lunch. She looked good and I was so happy to see her. I admired her for the gentle and caring person she was. She was very supportive of the kids when we were in school and then so patient with the students at St. Bernards. She ‘showed me the ropes’ in my first teaching job at St. Bernards. She was a wonderful person and you are so lucky to have a wife, mother and grandmother like her. My thought and prayers are with all of you at this sad time. It is assuring to know that she will be in a better place. God bless all of you.
