Timothy B. Kosse, age 55, resident of Salem, Ohio and former Plymouth resident passed away Thursday, February 24, 2005 in Centre County, Pennsylvania from injuries sustained in a traffic accident. He was born on October 3, 1949 in Quonset Point, Rhode Island to the late Peter J. and Marcella C. (Banks) Kosse. He had resided in Mifflin, Ohio and later in Plymouth for 17 years, then moving to Tennessee. A 1967 graduate of Hillsdale High School, he also attended the Ohio State University Branch in Mansfield. Mr. Kosse was employed with the Tappan Company in Mansfield as a Mechanical Engineer for 25 years. While in Tennessee he was owner of the Kosse Trucking Company and most recently he was employed by FedEx in Youngstown, Ohio. A veteran of the US Navy he served three tours in Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife, Norma F. (Butler) Kosse, whom he married October 27, 1973; one son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Lisa Kosse of Willard, OH; one daughter, Nicole Kosse of Salem, OH; a granddaughter, Kristen Barker; two brothers, Peter James Kosse of Tennessee; Patrick Kosse of Minnesota; four sisters, Randy Ross of Cincinnati, OH; Marcella Kosse of Washington; Linnea Ross of Virginia; Mary Lee Hensel of Virginia; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home with brother-in-law, Steven Butler presiding. Burial will follow at a later date in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh, Ohio.
