Mabel A. Fazio, age 82, resident of Willard, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at Hillside Acres Nursing Home in Willard. She was born on September 6, 1923 in Norwalk, Ohio, to the late Augustus and Iva (Rounds) Weisenberger, growing up in Norwalk, then moving to Plymouth. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Plymouth and the American Legion Womans Auxillary in Plymouth. She formerly worked for the Federal Government in Shelby and Ford City, IL, and at Pioneer Rubber Company in Willard.
She is survived by her two daughters, June Elaine Robinson and James Rose of Charlottesville, VA and Janet Elnora and Denny Boffo of Harrisonburg, VA; three sons, William Linn and Veronica Fazio of Willard, Jeffrey Allen and Denise Fazio of New Kent, VA, and Gregg Andrew and Connie Fazio of Shelby; 4 granddaughters; one grandson; two step grandsons; one step granddaughter; one great grandson; two great granddaughters; 1 brother, Joe Weisenberger of Norwalk; and 2 sisters, Charlotte Kromer of Norwalk and Mary Alice Hartung of Albany, CA. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Fazio on July 31, 2002; her parents; 1 brother, Chuck Weisenberger; and 1 sister, Jane Wagner.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth on Thursday from 5-8 P.M. Funeral mass will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Plymouth on Friday at 11:00 A.M. with Father Stanley S. Szybka officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, the Southern Care Hospice or to the charity of one’s choice.
