Anna E. Caskey, age 90, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2007. She was born on October 1, 1916 in West Liberty, KY, to Burns and Crilda (Maxey) McGuire, she had been a resident of Shiloh most of her life.
Mrs. Caskey was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, traveling to KY to visit long time friends and going to church. She was a great cook and especially enjoyed cooking for her family.
Her greatest passions were serving the Lord, knowing Jesus as her Savior and time spent with her family. She cherished every moment. Mrs. Caskey was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.
Characterized as caring and thoughtful, her kindness and unselfish spirit will not be forgotten.
She is survived by three daughters, Joyce and Rex Collins of Dayton, OH, Wanda Lewis of Shelby, and Loretta and Herbert Smith of Shiloh; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother and one sister and a son-in-law, Sylvan Lewis on April 27, 2007.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 31, 2007 at the Messiah House of Prayer Church, 74 Pettit Street, Shiloh. Rev. Bill Howell will officiate with interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Shiloh. Friends may call at the church Wednesday, May 30, 2007 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, with a prayer service at 6:00 PM. Memorial expressions may be made to the family.
