Tabitha Gene Gayheart, age 56 of Plymouth, Ohio passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born on July 16,1968 in Shelby, Ohio to Tommy and Imogene Gayheart.

Tabitha graduated from Plymouth High School in 1986 and then went on to become a licensed STNA. She has worked at Stanley Black and Decker for 20+ years. Tabitha enjoyed fishing, reading and watching videos. Most importantly, she spent every free moment being the best Mimi to her “babydoll”, Isabelle. Her favorite role was being a mom and Mimi to not only her family but also anyone she came across.

She is survived by her daughter, Casey Gayheart; granddaughter, Isabelle Cox; father, Tommy Gayheart; siblings, Jeff Gayheart, Tammy Carrington, Melissa Barnett and April Brewer; along with numerous nieces and nephews; and Fonzy and other pets.

Tabitha was preceded in death by her mother, Imogene Gayheart; paternal grandparents, Lucrecy and Thearn Gayheart; maternal grandparents, Carlis and Dina Caudill; along with numerous aunts and uncles.

Calling hours will be on Monday, December 16, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Secor Funeral Home in Willard. Additional calling hours will be on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the start of Tabitha’s funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio with Pastor Danny Hamilton officiating. Tabitha was a very good close friend to me. We met working for mtd and became fast friends. I will miss her tons. My prayers and condolences to her entire family.

Tabitha was such a generous and kind person. I know I won't be the only one who will miss her. Her energy could fill a room, you could feel her presence and it was always a good joyful energy. My condolences to her family, I am sorry you lost a great person.
