Judith Ann Schloemer, age 56, of Willard, Ohio passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024 after a difficult battle with lymphoma at The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital in Columbus Ohio. She was born on October 4, 1968, in Sandusky, Ohio to Robert E. and Rita M. (Ott) Stieber.
Judy is an alumnus of St. Joseph Catholic School in Monroeville, where she then attended the Notre Dame Academy in Toledo and graduated from St. Paul Catholic High School in 1987. Her faith was very important to her as a devout Catholic and she was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Judy grew up on the farm where she loved and lived simply and in the moment. She consistently, remained kind and sweet with a smile through her life.
She is survived by her husband, Vincent Schloemer who she married on April 6, 2002; Father, Robert E. Stieber; siblings, Cherri (Ron) Schaffer, Robert J. (Carrie) Stieber, Daniel E. (Michelle) Stieber, Mary Lynne (Joseph) Brown, Annette (Craig) Selka and Beth (Scott) White; mother-in-law; Kathleen Schloemer; along with numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Rita M. (Ott) Stieber; father-in-law, Norbert Schloemer and special uncle, Joe Stieber.
Calling hours will be on December 11, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio where the rosary will be recited at the end of calling hours. Additional calling hours will be on Thursday 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard. Judy’s Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday December 12, 2024 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard with Fr. Eric Mueller and Fr. Ron Schock officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Willard, Ohio.
