Bernadine "Bernie" Bolen-Pugh, age 69, of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 8, 1954 in Willard to the late Elmer Ray and Wanda Lee (Hicks) Bolen. Bernie proudly served in the U.S. Army and worked at Brunswick Defense in Willard. She was very crafty, enjoyed baking cakes, was a face painting artist and the greatest fryer of chicken. Most of all, she was a loving mother, sister and daughter.
Bernie is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Marie Inmon-May of Charleston, West Virginia; son Joshua Curtis Pugh of Plymouth; grandchild, Jacob Trent of Shelby; sisters, Brendal (Rich) Rowlett and Bernita Montgomery, both of Willard; brothers, Bud Bolen of Bloomville and Randy (Charlotte) Bolen of Attica; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandchild, Koty Howard and a sister, Beverly Schlarb.
Visitation will be at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM and again on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the time of her service at 1:00 PM with Pastor David Montgomery officiating.
