Linda Jeanette Jacobs, age 76, of Willard, Ohio, passed away on May 24, 2024 at OhioHealth Hospital in Mansfield.  She was born on February 21, 1948 in Harrisburg, Illinois to the late Lewis and Veva (Walker) Jacobs.

After graduating in 1966 from Willard High School, Linda worked at Pioneer Rubber Company.  She then moved to Toledo where she earned her computer programming degree from Stautzenberger College.  She worked in Kentucky before moving to Philadelphia where she worked at Klearfold.  After that, Linda worked for the State of Pennsylvania for a few years before moving back “Home” to Willard.

Linda was heavily involved in church and loved to spend time with her Lord and was very devout.  She also ministered to children who affectionately called her “Miss Linda”.  She drove underprivileged children in the “Snoopy Bus” to church, which filled her with joy.  She created lifelong connections to several of those kids.   She enjoyed pets, gardening, swimming, and helping people.

She is survived by her Goddaughter, Sikeema Wright of Norristown, PA; brother, Tom Jacobs of San Antonio, TX; a sister, Billie Jean Traxler of Willard, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her brothers, Bob, Ted, Dan, Phil, Fred, Larry, and Jim Jacobs; a sister, Donna Newland; and sisters-in-law, Gail, Carolyn, Sue Ellen, Ruth, Mary, and Lorrie; and brothers-in-law, Daniel Traxler Sr., and Richard Newland.

Visitation will be at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the time of her service at 12:00 PM with Pastors Rita and Ron Smith officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Willard, Ohio.  Memorial contributions may be made to Worship Alive Church in Bellevue, Ohio, or donor’s choice.  Online condolences may be made to Linda's family by visiting www.secorfuneralhomes.com

I was shocked to hear about Linda. Have been friends with her over 40 years from when she lived in Toledo. Linda visited us in Rush, NY and we visited her when she lived in Lexington, KY, Warminster, PA and at her condo in Philadelphia and always kept in contact especially at birthdays and holidays. She and our friend, Sandy, flew to TN to attend my wedding in TN in 1985. We had a lot of good times together. I will really miss all of the conversations Linda and I had about our lives and current events. She was a great friend. - Gayle Gayle Ezell Horton Friend May 29, 2024

Linda was a true Sister in Christ. I loved our talks about the Lord during her massage. We prayed together many times. She will be greatly missed, but I know her body is healed and she is dancing with Jesus! Her prayers for healing have been answered! Praise God!
