Kenneth E. Mahl, age 84, of Willard, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the St. Vincent's Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio surrounded by his family.  He was born in Willard, Ohio on July 18, 1939 to the late Arnold and Mary (Stockmaster) Mahl.  He retired from RR Donnelley and Sons in Willard after 40 years of service.  He was a former member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Willard Knights of Columbus and Bellevue Eagles.  Kenny has been farming his own property for the last 56 years.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley L. (Scheid) Mahl, whom he married August 20, 1960 and three daughters, Penny (Randy) Sparks of Monroeville, Becky (Brad) Sparks of Monroeville, and Geri (Bob) Adelman of Hilton Head, SC; 7 grandchildren, Brian (Jess) Sparks, Justin (Cortney) Sparks, Brandon (Victoria) Sparks, Brett Sparks (Tana Scheid), Aaron Adelman (Jenna Somsak), Alex Adelman (Kimberly Perkins) and Austin Adelman (Keeley Fickel); 7 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Tom (Beverly) Mahl of Willard, Oliver (Judy) Mahl of Willard, and John Mahl of Bellevue and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Patrick (Grace) Mahl, Carl (Marilyn) Mahl and Ray (Myrtle) Mahl; sister-in-law, Patty Mahl; nephew, Chad Scheid and niece, Sherry Mahl.

Friends may call at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  Kenny's Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard, Ohio with Fr. Ron Schock officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery in Monroeville, Ohio on Sandhill Rd. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Church or St. Francis School.
