Erin Elizabeth (Pifher) Manley, age 46, resident of New Washington, Ohio peacefully passed away on Monday, February 5th, 2024. She was born on January 13th, 1978, in Willard, Ohio to Frederick F. “Fritz” Pifher and Barbara (Daniel) Castor.
A 1996 Buckeye Central graduate, Erin was currently employed with Attica Lumber as a Post Frame Sales Associate. She was a Certified Health Coach who loved helping others and made an impact on everyone she met. She also worked at S.A.F.E. Security in Arizona, where she had an opportunity to work the Super Bowl and World Series in the same year. She also worked at several concerts, including Taylor Swift’s opening night of The Era’s Tour.
She is survived by her parents, and stepfather, Reed Castor; sister and brother-in-law, Angela and Russ Lindsay; niece and nephew, Payton and Gavin Lindsay; and her beloved dog, Gable. Along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; she was cared for and loved dearly by neighbors Rocky & Deb Wechter. Erin was preceded in death by her infant sister, Lori Ann Pifher; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Vivian Daniel; paternal grandparents, Grover and Betty Pifher; step grandmother, Myrtle Daniel and cherished dog Zoie.
Erin was a brave individual who lived life to the fullest. She loved to travel; her favorite places being Lake Erie, Arizona, and Florida. Erin was known for her home decorating skills and enjoyed watching football. She was always positive and made friends everywhere she went. No matter the situation she always looked her best and never left the house without her lips on. She never failed to make the whole place shimmer.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at the Secor Funeral Home in New Washington from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Erin’s funeral Mass will be on Friday, February 9, 2024 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in New Washington at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
