Clifton Stumbo, age 79, resident of Shiloh, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at his home, surrounded by his family.
He was born on July 31, 1944 in Price, Kentucky to the late Ray and Pricie (Gayheart) Stumbo and has been a Shiloh resident since 1970. Mr. Stumbo had been employed with the former AutoCall in Shelby for 25 years and retired from Crane plumbing in Mansfield. He was a member of the Richland County Coon Hunters Club. Clifton enjoyed hunting, gardening and canning. He loved spending time with his family, especially at Sunday dinners.
He is survived by his wife, Rietta (Hale) Stumbo whom he married on May 6, 1967; a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Mike Sexton of Shiloh; a son and daughter-in-law, Kurtis and Adrianne Stumbo of Shelby; five grandchildren, Shawn, Nathan, Gillian, Gabby and Wyatt; three great grandchildren, Brantley, Eli and Ella; two brothers, Clifford Stumbo of Shiloh; Matt Stumbo of Shelby; two sisters, Vany Harris of Shelby; Edith Crager of Rome.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Ernest Stumbo; and four sisters, Vestie Crouse, Vina Bowling, Estie Rodeheaver and Freda Burks.
Calling hours will be on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio. Clifton’s funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio with Pastor Jim Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Mt.
